Nope.  This shouldn't be a problem.

Nope.  You'll just want to review the Masquerading and NET HOWTO's - in
addition to the one above.

You have to set the "create mode = xxx" for the share.  Refer to the docs.

System startup is in /etc/init.d
User startup is /etc/profile and $HOME/.bash_profile, etc.
