YES!! I downgraded the compface package to 89.11.11-9 and now, after many
attempts and many megabytes of downloaded packages, I finally have a
working Xemacs 19.15. 

I guess a similar solution, but with more libraries involved, goes for the
'bo' version of xemacs. And I think that xemacs20 is just plain buggy or
it depends on some libc6 library I don't have.

BTW, can somebody take a close look at the 'Dependencies:' line of the
xemacs20 package? I think there is definately something wrong here. AFAIK
libc6 should go with ncurses3.4 (not 3.0) and elf-x11r6lib is obsolete[1].

[1] Is elf-x11r6lib really obsolete? I saw a lot of packages in
/var/lib/dpkg/available that still depend on it.
