I am a beginning user of Debian, and am having troubles with the start-stop daemon. I installed the nis, netbase, and netstd packages on both (yep, small net) machines, and followed the nis.debian.howto in setting up the master and slave. The master seems to be doing well, but the slave cannot seem to find the start-stop daemon. Is there anything special I need to do in order to get the slave to recognize the daemon?
