It's perfectly possible, provided someone has the time to write it l-)
The main technical problem I can see is getting svgalib up and running
on arbitrary machines. For low-resolution graphics modes that
shouldn't be too hard, actually - has anyone failed to do this or does
it work everywhere?
For high-resolution modes it can be anything from hard to impossible,
so we'd have to steer clear of those.
