I just built a kernel with PCMCIA support for the unstable distribution
and passed it to Simon Shaprio, who will release it. The 1.1 beta
test starts on Monday.

I have no idea if there is a driver for this or not, you'll have to try it.

The kernel I built has APM support and honors the user-suspend feature.
I think you can leave it suspended between sessions.
