Well... it really depends on how much traffic the daemon has to handle. I 
used Cnews from quite the beginning of my Linux "carreer" but had to 
switch to INN since it is is used here at Xlink.

That also depends. In conjunction with GUP and xbatch , streaming NNTP etc. 
INN is extremely performant and the INN FAQ often helps to solve the most
common problems (also it is maintained by Heiko W. Rupp, sitting just next
door) 8-))

I will check that with Heiko to create a more decent setup procedure.

At least a resonable package structure would help with the "bookkeeping" 
in your Debian System while configuring that beast still needs some work.

Conclusion : Any already done work or help (control etc files) are 
appreciated.

Currently I'm testing the 1.4unoff3 version.
