problem with sendmail-8.6.12-4
This problem started after installing the new version of sendmail.
sendmail-8.6.12-1 was working fine.
I have a user called fax
with the following permissions on /usr/spool/mail/fax
0 -rw------- 1 uucp mail 0 Jul 29 16:46 /usr/spool/mail/fax
when I send mail to fax
mail -f fax
..
I get
mail.local: /var/spool/mail/fax: Permission denied
fax... unknown mailer error 1
Saving message in /dror/dead.letter
When root type the following command
no mail is sent to dror
/usr/lib/sendmail -ffax -d 7 -oi dror
but
/usr/lib/sendmail -fdror -d 7 -oi dror
works fine.
Any idea why?
