Kolla i dokumentationen till 2.6-kärnan om de rekommenderar att man använder gcc 3.3. Så sent som i 2.4.22-kärnan så avrådde de ifrån att använda något annat än gcc 2.95 eftersom gcc >= 3 var för dåligt testat tillsammans med kärnan. /Pelle
Själva kompileringen går jättebra. Men i dokumentationen till kärnan står det:
-----------------------------------------------------You may use gcc 3.0.x instead if you wish, although it may cause problems. Later versions of gcc have not received much testing for Linux kernel compilation, and there are almost certainly bugs (mainly, but not exclusively, in the kernel) that will need to be fixed in order to use these compilers.
-----------------------------------------------------Så jag börjar bli lite tveksam. Lite dumt att gcc länkas till gcc3.3 vid installation, jag hade hellre fått välja vilken jag vill köra i någon dialog. Får väl tyvär gå tillbaka till 2.95 om ingen kan ge mig en lösning.
