El más cercano quizá sería el "hp-dv7-4000" :-?
Poniendo "hp-dv7-4000" aún suena peor. Más "enlatado". Lo suyo es con
ref, que suena de lujo, pero con el molesto pitido :(
Pues no sé si serán cañonazos pero para deshacerte del "zuzumba" (que
diría Fin el humano) sin perder la calidad que te ofrece la tarjeta
de sonido que tienes, quizá deberías darle un ojo a la documentación¹
(sección "Module snd-hda-intel") donde entre otras cosas que pueden
ser interesantes, dice:

Los chipsets de audio con salida digital de tropecientos canales tienen
la mala pata de que o configuras todas las salidas correctamente o te
puede dar problemas.

Pues nada, he probado lo de position_fix, tanto 1 como 2 y sigue el pitido.
Me parece que me voy a tener que acostumbrar al pitido, porque desde
luego, no hay color en calidad de sonido poniendo options snd-hda-intel
model=ref
