ISO Images Unable to Boot - Squeeze & Wheezy for ia64

Estimados,

Estoy tratando de instalar Debian Wheezy o Squeeze (He sido usuario de
Squeeze 64bits por dos años en una notebook hp con amd) en una notebook
ia64 de Lenovo desde imagenes de cd. He bajado las imagenes y chequeado
exitosamente las sumas md5. Sin embargo los CD creados a partir de estas
imágenes han sido incapaces de bootear.

He quemado varios CD tanto de Wheezy como de Squeeze (incluso en la versión
business card),los cd los hice con la misma notebook Lenovo con Windows7 y
también con una vieja PC (pentium 4) con Windows XP. Todos los CD no
pudieron bootear pero son perfectamente leíbles.
Es muy extraño, ya que para quitarme las dudas baje y quemé (misma
notebook) un cd con una imagen de Fedora17 y el cd funcionó perfectamente.

Espero que puedan encontrar la solución que me impide instalar la distro de
mi preferencia.

I am trying to install Debian Wheezy or Squeeze (I have been a Squeeze user
for 2 years on a Hp notebook with amd procesor) for a ia64 architecture
Lenovo notebook from CD images. So I downloaded the iso images and
checksums succesfully. However, after burning the cd they are unable to
boot.

I burnt several CDs with Wheezy first and finally with Squeeze in a Lenovo
notebook with Window 7 and also with and old PC with Windows XP. They all
failed to boot but are perfectly readable. 
Just to be sure, I downloaded and burnt a Fedora 17 iso image and the cd
booted succesfully.
I hope you could find the problem that prevent me from installing my
favorite linux distro, and fix it.
