¿A que temperatura está el micro realmente? ¿Te fijaste en la BIOS?
¿Que temperatura recomiendas deba estar el micro?
tengo un Pentium IV a 3Ghz
No conocía al collect, pero yo siempre usé lm-sensors sin mucho mayor drama. Y
a eso le agrego el ksensors para ir monitoreando desde el escritorio.

Ah es que yo si soy..., estaba buscando con el apt el lm-sensors así:
$ apt-cache search lm_sensors
y por eso no lo encontraba, encambio encontraba otros como:
collectd-sensors, wmgtemp y wmtemp.
ya instalé el lm-sensors y probé el comando, con un final así:
# sensors-detect
...

Comentando la linea del modulo smbus-arp, será que está bien hacer lo
que hice?, denuevo gracias por sus respuestas y tiempo!.
