instalacion nueva con etch y apt-get upgrade

saludos..
instale un equipo pc x86 con debian etch, instaki todo trabaja ok.... 
normalmente..
pero cuyando le ejecuto apt-get update y luego apt-get upgrade y reincio 
no entra mas...
en el boot me sale

despues de que esta cargado el usb en el kernel sale esto...
