potato & pptpd

Hola listeras/os:

    Alguien corrio pptpd con el kernel 2.2.19 standard de potato ?
    Me fue bastante bien con el paquete "pptpd" potatisado pero tengo
un error (con clientes win9X) que, segun google, voy a tener que
parchar el kernel y hasta ahora venia safando.
    Esto es asi?
    Alguien pudo correr exitosamente pptpd en potato?

 errors in your log file when the pptpd program is running on a machine
 behind a masq'ed firewall.

 Solution:  Apply the ip_masq_vpn.patch patch file to kernel.
     Also, look at Linux VPN Masquerade HOWTO: Patching and configuring
     kernel for VPN Masquerade support for details.
