Executando no terminal me da isso e nao abre.
Tem como ser executado antes do gnome começar?
Ex, estou numa rede que meus users se conctam no ldap.
Se ela nao carregar antes do gnome nao consigo autenticar.
Seria possivel?

Eu não uso gnome, mas acho (se alguém puder, por favor explique
melhor) que você tem que instalar o pacote network-manager-gnome, que
contém o applet para gnome. Depois vá ao menu sistema->sessões e
coloque "nm-applet" para iniciar automaticamente durante o
carregamento do gnome.
Se você executar o comando nm-applet num terminal ele vai funcionar, e
creio que o gnome vai "lembrar" disso na próxima execução.
