Porque a arquitetura 64 bits da Intel é meio lerda se comparada à 32 bits da
Intel (isso *não* é fator no AMD, e não acho que vá continuar a ser fator na
Intel por muito tempo), e você perde eficiência com pointers duas vezes
maiores, e opcodes maiores. Usa mais cache, etc.
