É que você está tentando instalar a package 'kde', você deve tentar:
# apt-get install arts kdebase kdeadmin kdeutils kdenetwork kdegraphics
kdegames kdeaddons kdelibs kdemultimedia kdepim kde-i18n-ptbr

E daí o KDE funciona :)
