Instalação de placa SiS 6326 AGP 8M com Xfree86 3.3.6



Caros amigos da lista, venho mais uma vez solicitar ajuda de quem estiver disposto, pois após várias tentativas frustradas em configurar minha placa de vídeo SiS 6326 AGP de 8M, usando o xf86config, estou quase convicto que o Xfree86 3.3.6 num aceita minha placa pelo fato de não ser barramento PCI, não entendo pois sempre consegui rodar nas distribuições Conectiva 5.0, 6.0, Mandrake 7.2. Aproveito para enviar uma cópia do arquivo de log que gerei ao rodar o startx, e do arquivo XF86Config. Pesso desculpas a todos pela insistência mas é que já tô ficando DESESPERADO, por não poder fazer uma coisa que para min parecia ser tão simpres. Já rodei o SuperProbe, e encontra a mesma como SiS 6326; o xf86config também tem na lista, porém o xviddetect encontrou como [SiS] | 86C326, talvés issso tenha há ver... Portanto agradeço antecipadamente a quem poder me ajudar, inclusive se poder me dizer como atualizar o Xfree86 para a versão 4.0.2, de preferência pelo apt-get.
