To nie to. Z tym parameterem sekwencja startowa zatrzymuje się u mnie
na ładowaniu usb. 

Dodanie parametru old_scheme_first=Y dla usbcore też nie pomaga.

Ja nic z tego nie rozumiem, ale może ktoś jednak jest w stanie
stwierdzić w czym problem? 

Męczyć tę listę czy linux-usb-devel? ;)
