Vorher /etc/init.d/gdm stop?
Erzeugt dir -configure denn eine xorg.conf.new(?) - siehe manpage

Hmm. Das UnloadModule fuer evdev kommt mir eigenartig vor, es sollte
IMHO drinnenbleiben. Aber deine maus tut ja. Mir fehlen da oben aber
einige inputdevices. Sind das alle, die du in /d/i bzw Xorg.0.log
ausmachen kannst?

Versuch das keyboard als device dezitiert in die xorg.conf einzutragen.
Scheint mir der leichteste Weg.
