Hallo Leute,

ich hab' jetzt endlich mit fglrx vernünftige Schriften, dank DisplaySize. Die 
Angaben in den beiden auskommentierten Zeilen gibt es bei mir nicht, sagt 
Xorg.log.

DisplaySize müsste eigentlich 700x400 entsprechend der Größe meines 
Bildschirms sein, ich hab' die Hälfte genommen. Ist vielleicht nicht 
fachmännisch, das Ergebnis entspricht aber weitgehend meinen Wünschen.
