Auf was steht denn die Variable LC_ALL? Was sagt locale? Der
root-Account sollte keine LANG gesetzt haben, bzw. wenn dann C/POSIX.
Deswegen waehle ich bei dpkg-reconfigure locales nichts anderes aus und
packe das LANG=XXX in die $HOME/.bash_profile

LANGUAGE=de_DE@euro
Kann man dies per Hand problemlos ändern?
