falsche Darstellung mit NVIDIA-Treibern



Hallo,

auf meinem Rechner habe ich Debian Sarge mit XFree86 Version 4.3.0.1
laufen. Im Rechner befindet sich eine NVidia Viper 770. lspci zeigt:

VGA compatible controller: nVidia Corporation NV5 [RIVA TNT2/TNT2 Pro]

Nach der Installation der neusten Nvidia-Treiber und Durchführung der
beschriebenen Einstellungen in der XF86Config-4, kann ich den X starten
und es erscheint auch ordnungsgemäß das Nvidia Logo. Aber leider kann
ich in meinem Window Manager weder den Mauszeiger erkennen, noch sind alle
Fenster leer, die ich öffne. Wenn ich bsw. xterm öffne, sehe ich nur den
Rahmen des Fensters und die obere Leiste. Der Inhalt des Fensters ist
transparent und zeigt mir den desktop-Hintergrund.
