ALSA / snd_intel8x0+snd_intel8x0m
Hallo!
Vor nicht allzu langer Zeite hatte ich schonmal die Liste wegen einer
ALSA-Problematik um Rat gebeten. Damals war es eine nicht funktioniern
wollende Installation. Ein Entfernen von *discover* vom System liess auf
meinem Rechner zuhause die Boxen erklingen.
Hier auf meinem Notebook sieht es nun anders aus. Die folgenden beiden
Devices beissen sich, ist meine Vermutung.

Ich habe auch hier discover deinstalliert. alsaconf bietet mir folgendes
zur Auswahl:
Following card(s) are found on your system.
intel8x0 Intel Corp. 82801CA/CAM AC'97 Audio Controller (rev 02)
legacy Probe legacy ISA (non-PnP) chips
Danach installiert alsaconf die Module in /etc/modutils/alsa-base und
spuckt das hier aus:
Building card database..
Running update-modules...
Loading driver...
Starting ALSA.../etc/init.d/alsa: Error: alsactl restore failed with
message 'alsactl: load_state:1134: No soundcards found...'.
done.
Setting default volumes...
===============================================================================
Now ALSA is ready to use.
For adjustment of volumes, use your favorite mixer.

dann mach ich das:
root@therziger-nb:~# alsamixer
alsamixer: function snd_ctl_open failed for default: No such device
Ich habe auch schon versucht, zuerst snd_intel8x0m mit rmmod zu
entfernen und dann alsaconf aufzurufen. Das Ergebnis ist das selbe.
Noch ein paar weitere Infos aus /proc:
