Ich kann noch folgende Kontrollfragen beisteuern:
1) sasl-Komponenten installiert? (z. B. libsasl2, libsasl2-modules
(beide!), sasl2-bin oder entsprechend andere sasl-Pakete; es muss ein
sasl-bin dabei sein, eine libsasl und ein modules-Paket, das "plain"
unterstützt)
2) postfix-tls installiert oder nur postfix ohne -tls?
3) Nach Änderungen "postfix restart" durchgeführt?
Das Ende meiner main.cf-Datei sieht so aus:
#Rm: sasl-auth
smtpd_recipient_restrictions = permit_mynetworks,reject_unauth_destination
smtp_sasl_auth_enable = yes
smtp_sasl_security_options = noanonymous
smtp_sasl_password_maps = hash:/etc/postfix/sasl_passwd
und funktioniert mit smtp-auth bei 1&1; GMX sollte genau so sein.
