Einfach die Pfade wo deine Font's liegen in die XF86Config-4
eintragen, mein Font-Abschnitt sieht z.B. so aus:

Die 4 unteren /usr/share/fonts/truetype sind entweder leer oder
enhalten von mir nicht benutzte Fonts. in /usr/share/fonts/TrueType
liegen saemtliche Fonts aus WinXP, die anderen Verz. sollten sich
selbst erklaeren.
Damit hab ich in OOo 1.1 (unstable) Times New Roman als Defaultfont,
aber das habe ich auch so eingestellt mittels oopadmin (fuers
bekanntmachen der Fonts in OOo) bzw. mittels Tools -> Options ->
Text Document -> Basic fonts (Western).
