apt-get -f install will zuviel runterschmeissen

Hallo,
ich bin hier etwas unsicher.
Die Fakten sprechen fЭr sich:

ASTA-SERVER:~/python2.3.3/python2.3-2.3.3.orig# apt-get install gcc
Reading Package Lists... Done
Building Dependency Tree... Done
Sorry, gcc is already the newest version.
You might want to run `apt-get -f install' to correct these:
Sorry, but the following packages have unmet dependencies:
idle-python2.3: Depends: python2.3-tk (>= 2.3.3-5) but it is not going to be installed
libc6: Depends: libdb1-compat but it is not installable
  libc6-dev: Depends: libc6 (= 2.2.5-11.5) but 2.3.2.ds1-11 is to be installed
  locales: Depends: glibc-2.2.5-11.5
python2.3: Depends: libdb4.2 but it is not installable
Depends: libssl0.9.7 but it is not installable
Depends: zlib1g (>= 1:1.2.1) but 1:1.1.4-1.0woody0 is to be installed
E: Unmet dependencies. Try 'apt-get -f install' with no packages (or specify a solution).

Das ist doch etwas zuviel. Also wenn es mir mc, if-up ect. runterschmeissen will, was bleibt dann Эbrich?.
Pysikalish ist der Server 30 Km von mir entfernt, reskiere ich da mit dem beantworten dieser Frage mit ja, die hin und zurЭckfahrt?
Was soll ich machen?
