Radeon 2D ist furchtbar langsam
Ich habe hier eine neue Radeon 9200 SE.
Ich habe sie anhand von http://www.gmpf.de/german/ und einem anderen
HOWTO mit den Treibern von ATI installiert.
Erst war ich recht erfreut, 3D funktioniert problemlos und ist absolut
schnell, auch XV ist erheblich besser als bisher.
Aber was 2D angeht, ist mein X lahm wie eine Schnecke.
Die erinnert eher an VESA als an irgendeine beschleunigte Grafikkarte.
Ich bin mir nicht bewußt, irgendetwas falsch gemacht zu haben, aber alle
HOWTOs scheinen auf 3D ausgerichtet zu sein.
Wie gesagt, 3D funktioniert perfekt.
