orclex:/home/alex# apt-get remove kdelibs3
Reading Package Lists... Done
Building Dependency Tree... Done
Package kdelibs3 is not installed, so not removed
0 packages upgraded, 0 newly installed, 0 to remove and 2 not upgraded.

Anschliessend kannst du kdelibs4 usw. installieren.

Leider nicht:
orclex:/home/alex# apt-get install kdelibs4
Reading Package Lists... Done
Building Dependency Tree... Done
Some packages could not be installed. This may mean that you have
requested an impossible situation or if you are using the unstable
distribution that some required packages have not yet been created
or been moved out of Incoming.

Since you only requested a single operation it is extremely likely that
the package is simply not installable and a bug report against
that package should be filed.
The following information may help to resolve the situation:

Sorry, but the following packages have unmet dependencies:
kdelibs4: Depends: libarts1 (>= 1.1.1) but it is not going to be installed
Depends: libvorbis0 (>= 1.0rc3-1) but it is not installable
            Depends: kdelibs-bin (= 4:3.1.1-0woody3)
E: Sorry, broken packages

Stimmt denn überhaupt der Source für KDE3 oder gibt es mittlerweile einen anderen, den ich für debian testing nehmen sollte?
[/etc/apt/sources.list]:
deb http://download.kde.org/stable/3.1.1/Debian stable main

Gruss,
Alex
