Mit entsprechendem BIOS und Bootloader geht dass, ich weis aber nicht ob
der bei Woody standardmäßig installierte LILO dies bereits kann. Neure
Versionen von LILO oder GRUB können es auf jeden fall.

Dürfte kein Problem sein, einfach in der lilo.conf so angeben.

Hier /boot/vmlinuz angeben. "/vmlinuz" ist meines Wissens eh nur ein
Verweis auf "/boot/vmnlinuz".

Das sollte das gleiche sein, wie die Kommandozeile die du beim Booten
angibst. Schreib evtl. noch zusätzlich "root=...".
