Also sollte die Installation von foomatic-filters doch ausreichen?

Ich habe den LogLevel mal hochgesetzt und jetzt fällt mir folgende
Meldung von gs im Logfile auf:
"**** Unable to open the initial device, quitting."
Bezieht sich das auf die Option "-sDEVICE=pxlmono"?
pxlmono wird bei "gs -h" aber unter "Available devices" gelistet!?
