Problem mit RAID onboard
Hallo ML,
ich versuche schon seit ein paar Tagen eine Lösung zu finden, wie ich Woody
auf einen neuen Server installieren kann. Ich habe alle mögliche Beiträge
durchgelesen, bin aber nicht wirklich dem Ziel näher gekommen.
Meine Hardware:

> 2x Seagate Barracuda ATA IV - Model ST360021A
In der Configure.help des Kernels 2.4 steht zu dem PDC20267:

Beim Booten von der Debian CD kommt:

Mode.

Nach der Tastaturkonfiguration fordert mich Woody auf, eine Diskette mit
Treibern für den Kontroller einzulegen!? Da der Support ja im Kernel sein
sollte, verstehe ich diese Auffordung nicht ganz. Um Fehler im BIOS
auszuschließen, habe ich Gentoo v1.2 reingelegt und konnte die Festplatten
sofort ohne Weiteres ansprechen...
Kann mir jemand einen Tipp geben, wie ich hier weitermachen kann?
