deselect läuft nicht mit multi_nfs

Hallo Liste,
bis vor einer Woche habe ich Suse verwendet. Nun möchte ich auf Debian
umsteigen und die Installation hat auch geklappt. Da ich kein Freund von
CD-Stecken bin, habe ich schon unter SuSE die Distributions CDs auf meinem
Server abgelegt. Damals wählte man ein Verzeichnis (z.B /media/SuSE),
legte darin CD1 bis CD7 an und gab dann den nfs Server mit dem
entsprechenden ersten Verzeichnis (/media/SuSE/CD1) unter Yast an. Fertig!
Unter Debian habe ich leider überhaupt kein Glück. Ich weiß nicht mal, wie
ich die CDs eigentlich ablegen soll, da dazu nichts zu finden ist. Ich
habe die gleiche Stuktur wie unter der Suse-Variante verwendet.
Wenn ich nun unter dselect in "Zugriff" multi_nfs auswähle, meinen NFS
Server angebe, und das Verzeichnis /media/Debian/CD1 auswähle, erhalte
ich:

I can't find the main `Packages.cd' file. The information in the
`Packages.cd' file is important for package selection during new
installations, and is very useful for upgrades.
If you overlooked it when downloading you should do get it now and
return to this installation procedure when you have done so: you will
find one Packages.cd file and one Packages.cd.gz file -- either will do --
in the `binary' subdirectory of each area on the FTP sites and
CD-ROMs. Alternatively (and this will be rather slow) I can scan the
packages in the distribution area - say `scan' if you want me to do so.
You need a separate Packages.cd file from each of the distribution areas
you wish to install.
Where is the _main_ `Packages.cd' file (if none is available, say `none')

Dann folgt
`/debian/dists/stable/non-free/binary-i386' does not exist.
Which directory contains the *.deb packages from the non-free distribution
area (this directory is named `stable/binary' on the distribution site) ?
Say `none' if this area is not available.
Enter _non-free_ binary dir. [/debian/dists/stable/non-free/binary-i386]
- -----> ich gebe none ein. (Wenn ich ganz oben nicht CD1 sondern CD7
auswähle, werden die Packete für alle "areas" gefunden).
Das Script endet.
Beim Auswählen von erneuern erhalte ich dann folgende Fehlermeldung:
/usr/lib/dpkg/methods/multicd/update: [: eq: binary operator expected
Ersetze Informationen über verfügbare Pakete mit
/var/lib/dpkg/methods/mnt/Packages.
dpkg: konnte Paket-Infodatei »/var/lib/dpkg/methods/mnt/Packages« nicht
zum Lesen öffnen: Datei oder Verzeichnis nicht gefunden
Skript zur Aktualisierung der Verfügbarkeitsliste gab Fehlerrückgabewert 1
zurück.

Ich weiß keine Lösung. Wer hat eine?

P.S. Auch bei der Auswahl der CDs aus dem CD-Rom hane ich Schwierigkeiten.
Wenn ich die Konfiguration mit "apt-setup" durchführe. Greift dselect auf
darauf zurück?
