Offenbar ist xv mittlerweile aus non-free verschwunden, ich habe es auf
www.debian.org/distrib/packages nicht mehr finden können.
ms@mars: ~ $ sudo apt-get -s install --reinstall xv

Building Dependency Tree... Done
Sorry, re-installation of xv is not possible, it cannot be downloaded.
