noyau 2.6 sur un toshiba M40X141
Bonjour,
J'ai installé une 3.1r0a sur ce laptop a partir du CD businesscard. En
2.4 l'install c'est bien passée, mais en 2.6, le disque est introuvable
par l'installeur. Bon, je finis en 2.4 puis je charge un 2.6.11 (debian)
et je compile avec un initrd : un beau kernel panic au reboot.
En fouinant un peu sur le net je trouve cette page :

Les controleurs ICH sont les même que sur le M40 (cf lspci ci-dessous).
Il y est proposé de modifier la libata.h ce que je fais. Après la
recompile, le nouveau noyau ne veut pas s'installer : le systeme me dit
à la post install qu'il ne sait pas quel module scsi choisir.
Une idée ?
