[Debian]:Aufruf von ldconfig?

Aus der Manpage für ldconfig:

|       ldconfig should normally be run by the  super-user  as  it
|       may  require  write permission on some root owned directo­
|       ries and files.   It  is  normally  run  automatically  at
|       bootup,  from  /etc/rc, or manually whenever new DLL's are
|       installed.

Aber:
|root@torres[2/500]:/mnt/main8/home/mh$ rgrep -r ldconfig /etc/*
|root@torres[3/501]:/mnt/main8/home/mh$

Hält Debian sich nicht an die Empfehlung oder ist ein anderer
Mechanismus implementiert? Für Tips bin ich dankbar.
