Wiso soll Mensch es unnoetig verkompilzieren? Kannst sogar noch nen

wenn du potato laufen hast --> apt-get install grub <enter>
dann am besten die stage1 und stage2 nach /boot/grub kopieren (so mag
ich das am liebsten, kann aber auch irgendwo sein. Wenn Du sehr grosse
Platten hast, brauchst du vielleicht ein stage1 mit zusatz zb. lba.
grub aufrufen (ist ne emulation der grub kommandozeile unter linux und
den installbefehl sinngemaess ausfuehren)
wenn Du lieber erstmal von floppy testen willst:
dd if=stage1 of=/dev/fd0 bs=512 count=1
dd if=stage2 of=/dev/fd0 bs=512 seek=1
und dann von floppy booten
