Win95 zählt die Bytes von Hand durch. Dewegen dauert das auch so lange :->
Mal im Ernst, ich denke, der Knackpunkt steht in der obigen Erklärungen
in den Wörtern "..uses this BIOS call *at boot*..."
Wenn ich mich nicht irre, bootet Windows nach wie vor erst mal in die
berüchtigten 640K rein und erkennt/belegt den restlichen Speicher erst
"unterwegs" beim Booten.
