And while you're at it, Camm, in case you wish to use my NMU for
Lapack, please use the one available here, as that doesn't use
-ffloat-store:

Of course, you may feel free to repackage it. But as I have indicated
in earlier mails, I 've got quite a few packages like GNU Octave to
work with it, so I hope your task is made a bit easier by my tests.
