Ok, for now I have done the following: I changed NOTHING in the package,
just recompiled it in an etch chroot (with tex-common 1.7 installed).

Now on the tug.org server the binaries in tl2007 are useable for etch, I
tried it. In short, for those using etch:
	deb http://www.tug.org/texlive/Debian/ tl2007/
	deb http://www.tug.org/texlive/Debian/ lmodern/
	deb http://www.tug.org/texlive/Debian/ context/
should do it. tl2007/ dir contains tex-common 1.7.

I hope to keep it this way. No, this is not for backports ;-)

Best wishes

Norbert
