The horror bug database of texlive-base

Hi all!

Well, I tried to getan overview of all the bugs open for texlive, and I
must say that the reassigning of all those thousands of bugs of tetex
does not help.

I am completely lost. There are bugs from tetex 1 (Yes ONE!) etc, bugs
relevant for programs which were outdated at woody times.

If none speaks up I will clean up the whole mess by closing every bug
which:
- belongs to tetex 1 or tetex2
- is older than 1-2 years

I consider a bug database like this completely useless that I stopped
looking at the list of bugs.

Best wishes

Norbert
