I tried to install texmacs from this site, adding the above line to my
sources.list (after commenting out the other repositories). However,
when I tried to update the database, the following error happened:

How do I get the public key recognized??
beamer should work fine with texlive, what's the problem?
Sorry, I hadn't tried installing it yet. It does install and seem to be
working fine in a simple test file.
It's not texlive that isn't compliant, it's a couple of add-on
packages.
Ok, I will stick with texlive.
