According to /usr/share/doc/xspecs/xlfd.ps.gz, the font supplier should
register a Foundry name with the X Consortium for use in XLFD names.
AFAICT, no such name was registered by the lmodern suppliers, therefore
I put "unregistered". I wish there were a policy for unregistered font
suppliers...

That is upstream's choice... Also, I have the impression that "bold" is
bolder than "dark".
