Well, they are, just not in teTeX. TeX Live has, eg, ygoth.pfb in
gothic.tpm, which is probaly part of fonts-extra (haven't checked this).

In case you are refering to something Yannick wrote: It hasn't come over
the list as of now. Though the list is rather slow today. So I don't
know what work is to be estimated.
