No, it should go into /usr/share/texmf/..., as it is *NOT* installed by
a tetex package. Only tetex packages install into
/usr/share/texmf-tetex (and only texlive packages into
/usr/share/texmf-texlive), all other packages must install into
/usr/share/texmf.
