Build-Depends on ptex-buildsupport which contains a stripped-down
version of the tetex-bin_2.0.2 sources, and this doesn't play together.
The maintainer seems to be aware of the situation, last entry in the
changelog: 

  * New upstream release.  3.1.5 is the last version which can be built
    with Web2C 7.4.5, so 3.1.7 or later will not be packaged until sarge
    is out.

I'm going to submit a reminder bug, anyway.
