	Perhaps not for tetex. But if some package does not directly
 use debconf, and thus does not source the confmodule. In this case,
 the work around does something useful.

	What if /var/cache/debconf/templates.dat is deleted? the
 frontend seems to load templates on startup, and ucf can attempt
 something similar for the templates belonging to the calling package,
 if no frontend is running

	Not for a corrupt db, no. But for a DB that had been dleted
 and is slowly being rebuilt, it may help.

	If not, how would you suggest one goes around handling issues
 like the one reported in Bug#299077 ?
