I'm on the same boat. One of the packages that I want the most for my
work is exactly cm-super. I also have contacted the maintainer of
pts-tetex-cm-super, but got no response for some time now. I am
anxiously awaiting for him to give some feedback.
Otherwise, I think that we can package it and upload with some help from
some current Debian Developer.
This is, BTW, one of the problems that I see with Debian: the fact that
some developers are difficult to reach and with packages that have at
least a bug with a patch sitting there on the BTS.
This is so frustrating. :-(
