Yes, it was rewritten, but I don't think it was Debian-specific that
they were installed:
$ grep ofm2opl src/Packages/tetex-bin/tetex-bin-2.0.2/debian/*
src/Packages/tetex-bin/tetex-bin-2.0.2/debian/changelog: - ofm2opl.1
$

There are manpages written by Claire, which are (now) in texk/tetex (at
least the first one, didn't check all). Don't know why they aren't
installed.
