we only provide packages that are in the upstream teTeX distribution -
it's primarily Thomas Essers work to keep an overview of CTAN and decide
what is being packaged, and what fits together. Therefore I forward this
bug report to Thomas, maybe he will include it in the next teTeX
release.

The alternative is to package it separately - this has been done for a
couple of LaTeX packages, like pdfscreen, latex2html, prosper,
preview-latex, and others. If Thomas doesn't want it (or you don't want
to wait for tetex-3.0, which will probably not be fast enough to get
into sarge), you can file a RFP (Request For Package) bug against the
wnpp pseudo package.=20
