Bug#176526: tetex-bin: /var/lib/texmf/web2c/mktexnam does not set PATH correctly

Yes, it would seem that one has to temporarily remove some of the standard fonts
to force mktexnam script to run. I believe it's used to generated fonts. Try
moving aside the whole pk tree for a moment WITHOUT running mktexlsr and such
that tex is forced to create the fonts....
unfortunately I can't generated the error myself at the moment. Perhaps using a
very usual font would get it to work.
